With over 45 years of distinguished experience spanning government, the private sector, and non-governmental organisations, Fazela Mahomed brings unparalleled expertise to the realm of operations, event management, and strategic logistics.

Throughout her career, Fazela has demonstrated a consistent ability to deliver meticulously planned events, manage complex budgets, and lead diverse teams to success. Her financial acumen ensures maximum value for every rand spent, without compromising on quality or impact. Her ability to maintain strict budget controls while delivering high-calibre events sets her apart as a leader in the field.

Fazela’s career highlights include her pivotal role in the historic Constitution-making process in South Africa, where she was responsible for conceptualising and coordinating public consultation meetings. During her tenure in Parliament, she played a key role in co-ordinating the logistics related to the establishment of new Parliaments after elections. She managed intricate logistical operations with precision. She also led the organisation of high-profile Parliamentary events, including meetings of African Parliaments and official openings—events that demanded flawless execution, diplomatic insight, and strategic foresight.

In recent years, Fazela has extended her expertise to the cultural and public event space,  in planning and delivering large-scale events that are both impactful and memorable. She also assisted NGOs with organisation of conferences and meetings.
